‘What can I do to help?’
It’s hard to know what to do or say if an accident occurs.
Often just being there can be helpful – you don’t necessarily need to talk, just listen. Help around the house is also a great option: washing, groceries, ferrying other children to and from school and so on can all be really helpful.
